Ind vs Sl: The BCCI has made some changes to the 5th and final T20 match between India and Sri Lanka, and Indian opener Smriti Mandhana is not playing. Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur confirmed during the toss that both Renuka Singh and Smriti Mandhana have been rested for the final match to give opportunities to new players. Since Team India has already secured the series, the management wants to give a chance to young players.

Hopefully, we’ll continue the same momentum and give our best. She also said, we’ve two changes as Renuka and Smriti are resting while G Kamilini making her debut and Sneh Rana is back.”

Sri Lankan captain Chamari Athapaththu said her team learned a lot from the series against India. She said: “We have decided to bowl first today. We played some good cricket in the last game, and that has given the team a lot of confidence, so we want to try and replicate that performance. This tournament has been a huge learning curve for us; playing against a world-class team like India, the World Champions, teaches you something in every game.”
