CBSE Board Exam Revised: Regarding the CBSE board exams, the board has made a significant change. According to the board, the 10th and 12th grade exams, which were scheduled for March 3, 2026, have been rescheduled. The 10th-grade exam will now be held on March 11, while the 12th-grade exam, which was also scheduled for March 3, has been canceled and rescheduled for April 10, 2026. The board did not provide any specific reason for this change, stating only that it was due to administrative reasons. This change will directly impact the students who are preparing for these exams.

CBSE has clarified that this change is only for the exam scheduled for March 3rd (CBSE Board Exam 2026) the timings for other exams will remain the same. The good news is that Class 12 students will get a little more time to prepare, while there isn’t much difference in the rescheduled dates for Class 10 students.

The board did not specify any particular reason for this change in its notice, but instead cited administrative necessity. Although experts believe that sometimes such changes are necessary to ensure the smooth functioning of the board. The exams for 12th-grade students, which are scheduled for April 10th, a month later than usual, may be affected in terms of examination centers and answer sheet evaluation.

CBSE Board Exam 2026: The board has instructed all schools to communicate this change to students and parents. The board has clarified that students can check their admit cards on the official website( cbse.gov.in), which have been reissued after the change, and they will be able to see the updated information on their admit cards. The board also stated that all other exam dates will remain the same, except for March 3rd. Teachers said that students should utilize this time to solve sample papers and prepare well for the exam, and that 12th-grade students have ample time to prepare.

It’s worth noting that the 2026 examination session will be different in many ways for the CBSE. The board is also working on a plan to conduct the Class 10 examinations twice a year under the new National Education Policy (NEP 2020). Therefore, the board is exercising considerable caution regarding the management of the examinations. The 2026 examinations are scheduled to begin on February 17, with approximately 4.5 million students from India and abroad expected to participate.

CBSE Board Exam 2026: The sudden change in exam dates has caused some unease among students, but the board has attempted to prevent any confusion by providing timely notification. Parents and students are advised to keep an eye on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in, instead of relying on unofficial sources.
